Things to see and do in Fethiye & Oludeniz  
Hisaronu is the nearest town and is in walking distance (10 mins) to the centre, but there are many bars and restaurants for you to visit on your walk into the town. Once in the town you'll find an array of lively bars and an assortment of restaurants, as well as plenty of shops to visit. You may even want to try the Turkish baths as the option is yours!  

If you prefer the beach then why not catch one of the dolmus (minibus/10mins) to take you to Oludeniz (dead sea) with the famous blue lagoon. It is one of the most photographed beaches in the world, and little wonder why when you visit. You can relax on the white sands surrounded by the babadag mountains, whilst watching the paragliders slowly descending down from the top of the mountains onto the beach.

 
Also in the local area is the harbour town of Fethiye, with its fishing boats where fish is caught daily and sold to the restaurants and fish market. You can even go and choose a fish you fancy and take it to one of the many restantants where they will debone and cook it for you for a small charge. Other attractions include takeing one of the many boats in the harbour and visiting the 12 islands, as well as the pleasant bazaar, with its narrow shady streets and tiny square.
